H2O GmbH at ACHEMA 2024: Efficient and safe treatment of industrial wastewater from chemical-pharmaceutical processes

Complex substances require complex treatment methods? Not necessarily! Vacuum distillation combines the safe and efficient separation of substances from chemical-pharmaceutical processes with excellent economic rentabillity. The VACUDEST vacuum distillation system turns 100 % waste water into up to 98 % reusable water, which can be used to rinse production facilities, for example. Depending on its composition, the contaminated concentrate can be disposed of at low cost. Thanks to these high savings, the investment in such a treatment system usually pays for itself in less than 2 years.

Vacuum distillation systems utilise the simple principle of physical substance separation according to boiling point differences. This means that active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), medicines, hormones, trace substances, pesticide waste water, native oils and emulsifiers, refractory COD, PFAS, non-polar organic substances and much more remain in the evaporation residue - they are reliably and safely separated.

Customised wastewater solution for high treatment quality.

The novel Purecat technology also minimises residual contamination of short-chain organic compounds and the Destcontrol pH regulator enables constant distillate quality thanks to the automatic dosing of acid and alkali.

Predictive maintenance thanks to Industry 4.0

H2O GmbH's digital services have also already been successfully integrated: the Smart Service Cockpits. These digital analyses enable a new quality of process monitoring for wastewater treatment, directly on the machine control system. The result: predictive maintenance for greater process reliability, lower operating costs and less stress.
